Antidepressant drugs are getting into coastal waters and upsetting the behaviour of shrimps, according to researchers at the University of Portsmouth.The drugs enter the sea in human waste through the sewage system.
The researchers say this causes the shrimps to forget to hide from predators and, as a result, find themselves getting eaten.
Dr Alex Ford is one of the scientists behind the research.
